Want to feel what it is like to drive a V8 Supercar? Drive your choice of either a Holden or Ford around our circuit. Race suit and helmet are provided. Please nominate your vehicle choice at time of booking.

The V8 Super School is on offer to anyone wanting to tackle the challenge of driving a V8 racecar. "It's an opportunity for V8 fans to have a go themselves in a safe, enjoyable environment".

A fleet of Commodores and Falcons have been purpose-built for the V8 Super School. The vehicles are presented in a selection of V8 Supercar team livery designs including Morris' Sirromet Wines team, Castrol Edge, Marcos Ambrose-Team Australia, Jeldwen and Orrcon. All vehicles are equipped with a safety roll cage, racing seats and harnesses, full race aero kits, quick-shift gearboxes, Supercar-like suspension and slick racing tyres.

Whilst at the centre, guests can also get a behind-the-scenes look at a Holden V8 Supercar race team. Depending on the team's schedule, Paul Morris Motorsports 'Sirromet Wines V8 Supercar Team' is open for a close-up look at the high octane world of motor racing (please check when booking).

Location

Located approximately 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 45 minutes from Brisbane the Holden Performance Driving Centre is nestled in the picturesque cane fields at Norwell, 10 minutes North of Dreamworld.

Available Dates

V8 Super School operates daily depending on circuit availability at the HPDC.

Dates may book out without notice. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Participant Requirements

Minimum age 14+, minimum height 120cm and the maximum driver height and weight is 195cm and 120kg. Drivers should be in good physical condition with no heart problems or breathing difficulties.

A manual license is required for all driving packages.
