Experience the fun & unique sensation of being in a hot air balloon flying gently high above the Atherton Tablelands, Australia. The balloon takes off from Mareeba.

Enjoy the picturesque landscape at sunrise, enjoy a 60 minute balloon ride and breathe in the wide-open spaces! We have Australia's largest fleet of hot air balloons, so much to see, it's just like a balloon festival everyday.

Our fun, highly trained crew are well practiced in having maximum fun at this special and peaceful time of day.

Includes

Enjoy champagne, fresh juices, eggs & bacon, tropical fruits & a hot and cold buffet is all yours, as you relax over breakfast. There is a choice of hot dishes, coffee, local teas & fruit juices with the balloon tour finishing approx 10am. Return transfers to your Port Douglas accommodation.

Available Dates

Flights operate 7 days per week throughout the year, subject to weather. The trial flights are conducted between 4.45am and 10.30am as this is the best time of the day to fly as it offers the calmest conditions.

Participant Requirements

Walking shoes, a camera, and dress casual outdoor layered clothing, and a peak hat or cap. White clothing not recommended due to bush environment.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before travel (earlier than 04:00am, 3 days before travel, as logged in the Operator’s system audit)) may be made without penalty and reschedualed. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before travel will attract a 100% cancellation fee.
