This experience starts off with an in-depth “TopGun” style briefing. Unlike other adventure flight companies, ALL our passengers are GUARANTEED to fly with a former military trained fighter pilot so you’ll be flying with the best! He will quickly put you at ease and brief you on the fundamentals of High “G” Force and High Speed flight. Each fantastic manoeuvre will be explained in detail and your excitement will grow exponentially! With the briefing done, you’ll gear up in authentic fighter pilot flying equipment, be assigned a “call sign” and adorned with several squadron patches.

You’ll look and feel like a true “TopGun” allowing for some fantastic photos. Out at the aircraft you’ll be strapped into the back seat and given a cockpit familiarisation. Soon after the powerful 285 Horsepower radial engine starts up, you’ll hear and feel that classic “humm” of the CJ6 Nanchang. You’ll be in the air in no time and enjoying unforgettable aerobatics such as rolls, loops, bowties, up side down, and just about anything you can imagine. You’ll feel High G Forces and fly at up to 350kph. You’ll not only be amazed by the incredible manoeuvres but absolutely “gob-smacked” by the world renowned Tasmanian aerial scenery.

Available Dates

Our adventures run almost every day of the year. In the warmer months it is advisable to book at least 4 weeks in advance. We generally have two flight periods either at 10am or 1pm. However, we’ll do our best to flex to your time if the other times are not suitable.

Participant Requirements

• Minimum age is 14 (17 or younger must be accompanied by their legal guardian)
• All passengers are required to sign a full liability waiver prior to flying
• Max Height and Weight: 6 foot 5 inches tall and a max of 130kgs
• General good health for your age
• Comfortable clothing suitable to wear under our flying suit (similar to coveralls)
• Closed toe footwear only (i.e. no thongs, flip flops, or sandals). No high heels. Trainers or boots are ideal
• If you wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, please wear them. Eyeglass will fit under the flight helmets with ease
• Cameras are welcome for the briefing but are prohibited inside the aircraft
• Please bring a photo I.D. with your gift voucher

Cancellations

The flight is subject to suitable weather conditions and aircraft availability or any other issue that considers us due to safety or Government Regulations. If your flight is cancelled it will be rescheduled to another convenient date and time or location if required. A cancellation or change to a scheduled flight less than 7 days from the fly date will incur $50 administration fee. Cancellations or changes inside of 24 hours will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No shows will forfeit their flight.
